Summary

Chapter 45

Nico arrives at Octavian’s legion’s headquarters by summoning up a zombie chauffer to drive an SUV. He gets out of the car and then fades back into the shadows so he can take out the onagers without interruption. The bad thing is that he almost collapses from overuse. Will Solace shows up and then relays to Nico that Coach Hedge is fine and told him that he is not to do shadow-traveling anymore. Will and Nico then team up with a few others to finish sabotaging the rest of the onagers.

Their team makes it to the first onager and then Nico has a brilliant idea. If they changed the trajectories then they could potentially destroy almost all of them in one fell swoop. On the way to the next onager they’re fighting off monsters when Nico summons...
