Summary

Chapter 7

Nico finally must be wakened, and Reyna tells him about her dream and that she fears that Octavian is about to attack Camp Half-blood. Most of the day has passed and when the shadows get long enough, Nico will transport them again. However, just as they are getting ready to make the jump, Coach Hedge becomes possessed by Gaea. Without warning the very rocks start coming up from the ground and attacking them as rock soldiers. Nico tries to control them but it is if they are immune to his commands. The demigods find themselves cornered.

Chapter 8

Nico figures that this is an opportune time to use the Diocletian scepter and he uses it to call forth some soldiers of his own. Nico summons dead legionnaires to his cause and the scepter explodes at the strain of using Romans to fight Romans...
