Summary

Chapter 1

Jason, Piper, and Annabeth have determined that the only way to find out what the next move is by Gaea is to go undercover. They change their appearances so that they look like an old man and two serving girls. When they arrive they are readily welcomed into the ruins. Everywhere that they look there are the defeated and evil remnants of various figures from history. Jason is worried that his mother might make an appearance and blow his cover.

The monsters all decide to have a party and set up a large banquet table. Jason sits down and begins to listen in on their plans and their bragging.
