Summary
In Chapter 32, once Natalie landed in Greece she took off her hijab and dressed in regular clothes. She checked into her hotel and recognized some of Gabriel’s team members in the lobby. She saw the man with the “bloodless skin and eyes like glacial ice” (277) who was sitting at the bar, pretending to flirt with others girls. She was surprised to hear that he spoke with a Russian accent and wished he would join her. She realized at that point that she did not want anyone besides him.
After she had been in Greece for three days, Natalie was approached by a woman named Miranda Ward. It was Miranda who suggested that she and Natalie go to Turkey.
