Summary
In Chapter 26, Nabil told Fareed that he had met Jalal in the spring of 2013. Jalal had already crossed to the jihadist side of Islam and convinced Nabil to join him. Jalal used Nabil to find recruits for ISIS. Nabil had been the one who had introduced Safia to Jalal. Jalal described how he sent a message by courier to Jalal about Safia. Jalal, however, could not tell them Saladin’s real name he claimed that he did not know it. Having gotten the information that they needed from him, Nabil was locked in jail. There was a message sent out on his social media, which was still active, signaling that Nabil had left a document about Leila in one of the ISIS drop points.
