Mask and Witch and Dragon, Dragon and Witch Summary

At sunrise, Fillip and Sot arrive at Ben and Dirk's camp to leave for their journey to Fell Deep. The two gnomes have injuries that Dirk bestowed on them when they tried to attack Dirk in the middle of the night. The two gnomes are staying clear of Dirks and are not sharing any information about the injuries they sustained.

As they travel through the land, Ben notices the wilting of the land. Since Meeks is not the real High Lord, it is taking its toll on the kingdom. It is also depleting the magic.
