Ashley's House

Ashley lives in a beautiful mansion in Los Angeles. The exact location of her expensive neighborhood is left unnamed. Instead, the novel simply refers to her home as being in the hills. Ashley's house is larger than almost all of her friends' houses. Ashley's bedroom is upstairs next to her sister Jo's room. The two sisters used to sneak out onto the roof to talk. When Ashley was little, Jo intentionally jumped off the roof and tried to kill herself. Lucia lives in a guestroom downstairs.

Jo's Apartment
