Chapters 31-34 Summary
Harry returns to Calexico and places a call to Teresa. Harry asks how Moore's body was identified and learns it was through the fingerprints in his personnel file. Harry asks Teresa to compare those fingerprints with the ones on file with the state, feeling sure they will not match. Harry suspects Moore changed the fingerprint cards in his personnel file when he filed a change of address card. Harry then drives out to the castle and finds Moore there. Moore tells Harry how he wanted to buy his father's house after his death but did not have the money. Moore went to his half brother, Zorrillo, and asked for the money.
