Summary
In Part Two: Chapter 11, Matthew and the children arrive at Ravenswood and introduce themselves to Gwyneth. Later, they head into town for the ceremony honoring those killed during the Salem Witch Trials. Becca and Pip join other Proctor witches and Gwyneth promises Matthew that they will be safe among family. However, Matthew’s vampire instincts make him wary to trust anyone, and this only gets worse when Meg arrives and insults him. However, Diana intervenes with her own magic and promises to tell Matthew about it later.
Then, Diana is called up to lay the flowers on Bridget Bishop’s grave as her only direct descendant and Becca convinces Diana to let her come with her. Once they pay their respects, Diana’s sadness and anger causes it to start raining as she returns to her family. Meg tells them they...
