FNG, KIA Summary

Bugs and Keaty leave to get the party supplies, and Richard meets up with Jed and Sal who are deciding at which point Richard should encounter the Americans when they land on the island.

Mister Duck is not waiting for Richard at the lookout point, but instead is waiting for him on the path from camp. He is armed with a gun and is wearing camo paint. On the path, Mister Duck is wheezing and slowing down Richard's progress and even accidentally fires off a round from the M-16. They decide to leave it buried along the way. Richard decides that Mister Duck cannot accompany him to the beach where the rafters will land.
