Summary

In Chapter 8, Francine proved herself a capable and popular bartender, although her bold self-assurance did not endear her to everyone. She let slip to Rusty and Zoe that she had spent time in a juvenile detention center, for stealing a car when she was fourteen. Rusty decided to sit on this information rather than telling Tom straightaway.
