Summary

In Chapter 20, the morning after Darshan’s death, Geeta comforted herself with the thought that she prevented him from hurting more women. She knew that he had raped others before, the deft way he obstructed her air passage was learned from practice. When Farah came by, Geeta rebuffed her blackmailing attempt by telling her that she killed Darshan and asked if she really wanted to threaten someone who was a known killer.

Geeta and Saloni drove to the police station in Chapter 21. The disheveled office reminded Geeta that their investigations were conducted with similar lack of order. They were directed to sit with the only female officer, Sushma Sinha who took the investigation seriously.
