Summary

Evangeline starts panicking as Jacks stumbled into the inn, she is unsure of how to help him. In what seems like a delirious state, Jacks starts heavily flirting with Evangeline. Though she is confused with his actions, due to her feelings for him, they are not entirely unwelcome. Jacks wounds are healing in the same rapid and magical way that Evangeline's were when she first arrived at the Hollow, but his heady attitude continues. Jacks starts getting handsy with Evangeline, which makes her feel conflicted. Jacks pulls Evangeline into his arms and asks her to stay the night. Despite her temptation to accept, Evangeline pushes him off, saying that he is injured and needs to heal. Jacks insists that her being there will make him feel better, and eventually Evangeline gives into her desire and falls asleep cuddling with him.
