Summary
Evangeline writes a letter to herself, reminding her that Jacks is evil and will never want her best intentions. She writes the letter because she knows that the next time she sees Jacks, she will feel drawn to him, and does not want to forget all the evil that he has done. Evangeline is in Wolf Hall, now that it is known that she did not murder Prince Apollo.
Somehow, magically, the secret room at the back of the Wolf Hall library, which contains all the information related to the Valors, has opened. Evangeline sneaks in alone, seeking information about the ancient and powerful Northern family. She thinks she is alone until Jacks appears.
