Summary

In Chapter 24, Sasha got another call from Roger. Suddenly "leaving The Atmosphere...seemed more appealing than ever" (172). However, Sasha did not want to leave Peter. She knew if she suggested running away with him, he would agree, but she did not want this life.

When they met up that night, Peter refused sex. They got into an argument.

Days passed. Peter kept ignoring her. Finally Sasha "answered Roger's call," but hung up before they spoke (175).
