Summary
In Chapter 17, Sasha tried planning for her therapy session with the men. Dyson was swimming, and the men were discomfited by his absence. During therapy, Sasha began "resenting the men for ignoring [her]," Dyson for bringing her to this place, and Lucas "for igniting the fuse on [her] life" (120). Desperate to make someone feel pain, she gave the men pencils and told them to jam them into their hands. When the men seemed to enjoy the activity, Sasha fled the barn.
Alone, she checked her phone. She had another message from Roger.
That night, Dyson crawled into bed next to Sasha and congratulated her for the pencil activity.
In Chapter 18, Dyson gave the men "job training" by reading to them "from PDF summaries of For Dummies books" (125).
