Summary

In Chapter 9, Sasha drove into town to "pick up the men's uniforms" (57). She felt liberated on the highway. At the shop, she was desperate to get back in the car, and treated the owners rudely. They forced her to show her I.D. When they realized who she was, they demanded she leave. Without paying, Sasha grabbed the shirts and ran.

In Chapter 10, Sasha and Cassandra "went out for dinner" the night before Lucas Devry's death (61). They had just been booked for "an appearance on a network morning show to discuss ABANDON" (61).
