Orchid District in Marbella, Spain

Kate Warner wakes in the Orchid District in Marbella after she and two of the autistic children that were her test subjects are rescued. Called the Orchid District, it is the site at which Martin is desperately trying to find a cure for the Atlantis Plague. Orchid Districts are set up around the world and most of the remaining populations fled to them in the hopes of finding a cure. Given a drug called Orchid in the interim, their symptoms slowed and scientists hoped they had enough time to find a way to reverse the plague sweeping the Earth.
