Summary

Milo prepares to camp for the night, taking out his maps, traps and tenting gear, believing he is somewhere in eastern Afghanistan or near the Kashmir area of northern India or Pakistan. He looks over the two books Qian had given him. The first titled “Anthems of the Dying” and the second book is titled “The First Tribes of Humanity: A History”. When Milo reaches Tel Aviv, he finds a fishing boat and asks for passage west. On the yacht at sea, David calls Kamau and tells him to turn off all the lights and head away from the pursuing boats. Adam runs out of the saloon and the other boats kill their lights too. Adam suggests they put Kate in the stateroom with all of the guns until the SAS arrive, but David doesn't trust him...
