Summary

In Chapter 150, the soldiers guarding Kate collapse, and Martin grabs the children. They race through the corridors. She tells him that a nuclear bomb is coming through into the room in less than two hours. The soldiers with Martin lead the way through the corridors that end in a round room that is man made. In the middle of the room, a steel ladder leads into a large round pipe. Kate asks Martin what is going on and what happened to him. He tells her he has been waiting her hiding for almost two months hoping she and her father would come out. He tells her to get into the submersible because Craig is probably on his way.
