Summary
In Chapter 140, Dorian has five soldiers with him. He sees the two dead soldiers in the corridor and stops to examine the scene for danger. He tells the children not to pay attention to the soldiers that they are playing dead. He tells them that it is time for the race and they must run as fast as they can and the first on to the end of the room gets a huge prize.
They shove the children through the doors as the first shots ring out. Two men fall instantly. Dorian covers his father, but he is shot in the arm. It is only a flesh wound. Dorian tells him to go out the way that he came in because one of them must get out of there. He will finish them off and join his father. He watches his father clear...
