Summary

In Chapter 70, the Clocktower and Immari Security personnel are adjusting to working together. Dorian wants to hear what is happening at the China site. He is told that a Barbaby Prendergast is saying that he was accosted by a female who coerced him into aiding her in a rescue of some children. He tried to stop her. She later ran out after the attacks covered in blood, but unharmed. She took a security guard’s gun and got on the cargo train with a dying accomplice who had been shot multiple times.

Dorian realizes that Kate Warner has survived the Bell. He questions Dr. Chang about how she could survive. He suggests that she treated herself with whatever she gave the children perhaps testing it for safety. She also could already have immunity, the Atlantis Gene. Dorian wants her genome tested.
