Oraya
Oraya is one of two narrators and Raihn’s wife. While he considers Oraya to be his queen, she struggles between her love for him and her anger after he killed her father, Vincent, to take the crown. Over the course of the novel as Oraya processes her father’s abuse and cruelty, she realizes that he needed to be overthrown or the world would never move on. This leads to her rekindling her relationship with Raihn and agreeing to be his Queen officially, but only after he promises that she will be his equal.
