Summary
Part Five: "Waxing Moon" opens with an Interlude where the Queen begs the slave not to fight the king. However, as the Kejari approaches, the slave dares to dream.
In Chapter 43: "Oraya," she and Raihn get to his apartment with the help of a human who thanks Raihn for protecting them. Raihn gives Oraya everything he found about her mother, including a sketch Vincent made of her and a necklace with an identical black stone to her ring. He also believes that she was a sorceress of Acaeja, the Weaver of Fates. He then reveals that he always intended to let Oraya escape, but she refuses and the two kiss.
Chapter 44: "Oraya" continues as the two sleep together and Oraya asks for Raihn’s blood.
In Chapter 45: "Raihn," the two drink blood from each other, solidifying their bond before falling asleep...
