Summary
The only thing Stéphane knows about Anne-Catherine after being imprisoned is that she avoided being arrested at the Wagner Museum. Since then, he has heard nothing from or about her. Two months after meeting with Mireille, Von der Mühll travels to France, still searching for the paintings. While there, he subpoenas Anne-Catherine. Their interview is brief and unhelpful. Anne-Catherine denies having any role in stealing the art or cleaning out the attic.
