Summary
By 1997, as Anne-Catherine is on winter break from her job, the couple have stolen three out of every four weekends for two years. Occasionally, they have taken multiple pieces in one weekend, and all this is not even counting the works that Stéphane takes alone. Stéphane and Anne-Catherine have been together for five years, and he could not be more in love with her. To him, everything is perfect. To her, though, she is experiencing doubts. She has had her fill of their adventure, and wants to slow down, or even stop altogether.
Stéphane proposes that this winter vacation is the perfect time to throw the police off their scent, by stealing in a country they have never taken from before. Anne-Catherine begrudgingly agrees.
