Summary
Anne-Catherine and Stéphane are still riding the high of their crossbow thefts weeks later, when they decide to take a vacation and go skiing. The trip is paid for by Stéphane's grandparents, who continue to dote on him. They drive to Switzerland, and on the way, stop at Gruyères Castle in Switzerland, a fortress that has been converted into a museum. They have not come explicitly to steal, though Stéphane says that of every museum they visit, though he explains that this mentality is just a psychological trick to calm his and Anne-Catherine's nerves. Most of what they do is improvised and unplanned, rarely does Stéphane plan a heist, or know about the piece before he takes it.
