Chapters 36 - 42 (Pages 207 - 242) Summary

Not long after Eve's death, Denny takes Enzo for a very long walk in the drizzle in Chapter 36. Enzo notices that Denny is dressed differently than usual. He wears black slacks and a cashmere turtleneck and a black trench coat. Enzo thinks this is a nice change from Denny's typical jeans and sweatshirt combination.

Enzo runs and runs through wet, dewy grass, under a canopy of large trees. Denny keeps walking even after Enzo becomes tired. They go to another park called Interlaken. And while Enzo thinks Interlaken is one of the most beautiful places he has seen, he is nonetheless fatigued and quite thirsty.

Finally, Denny and Enzo arrive at Lake View Cemetery and Enzo understands what is happening. Enzo knows that martial arts movie star Bruce Lee is buried at Lake View. Denny and Enzo...
