Perspective
As an author of films and plays, it is understandable that the author would write a book on the art of writing. He is also the founder of his own school of writing: The Egri School of Writing located in New York, New York.
The author has seen and read a lot in his life, and has noticed enough problems to fill the space of a book with better methods. Some playwrights simply do not know what they are doing, others, perhaps, are following the theories introduced by ancient thinkers such as Aristotle thousands of years ago. Many of the author's theories differ. However, he makes his intention clear: the book has a dialectical purpose. It will attempt to find a fair truth in the theories of drama.
