Chapter 12 and Chapter 13 Summary

Chapter 12 finds Darrow as Jacob Christopher Dundee, an investment man who is making a killing in London financial markets. He is engaged to Clare Peabody and hopes to have a son. Joe, in the body of Darrow, plans to jump into the body of Maturo, the man Darrow knows will kill him in a week or so, and says he can put the herbs needed into his soup prior to the swap. Meanwhile, Jacky yells to a man on the street believing he is Doyle, but is saddened to hear it is not, as she now believes Doyle is dead. Chinnie, glad to have someone to talk to about the body swap, gets the story from Jacky as to what really happened to Chinnie.
