Summary

Over the next few days, the pile outside continues growing. The apartment board has placed crime scene tape, surveillance cameras, and several angry notes. Lucas has been dodging his responsibilities to the apartment board and refuses to go to a meeting where they plan to evaluate his performance thus far. Instead, he stays at home in the evenings and enjoys pad thai, wine, and playing video games.

The woman in purple also comes back to Lucas’ apartment and disturbs his video gaming. She brings with her two men she met on Facebook that believe Lucas is a generous angel based on her post about him sharing his wifi. They are distraught at being in the presence of an angel and Lucas is confused and annoyed. He asks them to go away, but the next morning they are still in the stairwell outside his door...
