Rachel Cutler

Rachel Cutler is one of the protagonists of the novel. Rachel is a tough, no-nonsense, strong judge. As a woman, she is quick-witted, clever, attractive, and feisty. Rachel never allows a lawyer, rouge police officer, or court members sass her. Although Rachel is strong, she is also stubborn. Rachel's inability to control what comes out of her mouth, cause her to lose her husband and is partially the reason she gets a divorce. Her steely exterior rubs her colleagues the wrong way.
