Part 1: Chapters 16 - 19 Summary
In Chapter 16, Rachel discovers the body of her father. It has been placed at the bottom of the stairs and looks like he fell down the stairs and broke his neck. Meanwhile, Paul is at the High Museum of Art. A reporter has requested to do a profile on Paul. As the reporter and Paul discuss Paul's work at the museum, the reporter points out that Paul's parents, Yancy and Maureen, were also benefactors at the museum. They and 27 other people died on an airbus leaving Italy. Paul quickly leaves the museum.
In Chapter 17, Rachel, her children, and Paul are at Karol's funeral. Rachel begs Paul to go through Karol's things and handle his last wishes and will. Paul obliges and wishes that he and Rachel were still together. Paul does not find anything concerning the will at Karol's...
