Summary

In “Chapter 19” Leia and her family talk to Selcouth, Sel. Leia was embarrassed that she barely knew him and worried what her family would think. Sel had difficulty expressing himself and revealed that he suffered from a stutter. Leia took him into Birchie’s sewing room and he put on his Batman cowl in order to stop stuttering. He told Leia that he wanted to be part of the baby’s life and that he planned on living in the same town as her. He stated he would see if he liked Norfolk and that she could come to Atlanta and see if she liked it there. He suggested that they would find a place together that they could both live and raise their child.
