Summary

In Chapter 4, Leia and Lavender drove to Alabama to see Birchie. Lavender was not her usual self, being angry and upset about her parent’s fight and worrying that they would divorce. Rachel had forced Lavender to go on the trip and Leia agreed, realizing that Rachel was asking for help and needed space. Lavender made a joke about Leia being pregnant and became upset when she realized this was true, thinking that she was the last to know everything. Leia told her she was one of the few people that knew and not to say anything. Lavender asked about the father and Leia was unsure how to respond, saying he was out of the picture.
