Summary

In “The Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.,” Sookie met Dr. Shapiro at a restaurant with that name. Sookie ordered lunch but Dr. Shapiro stuck with decaffeinated coffee. She was in the middle of telling him a story about Marvaleen when she jumped up and ran to the restroom. Sookie saw her mother’s friend, Pearl Jeff, enter the restaurant, but Dr. Shapiro had no idea why she bolted from the table. Dr. Shapiro got worried and asked Pearl at a nearby table if she would check on his friend in the ladies room. Pearl went in, but Sookie hid in a stall and would not speak to her.
