Summary

In Chapter 33, Tessa breaks the news, and Coach Donovan tries to run away from the police. Iris receives a creepy text from her father. At the end of the chapter, a transcript of the interview between the police and Coach is presented. He says he is innocent.

In Chapter 34, Steve is released from jail and celebrated. Alice learns that Cole left Kennedy’s house just after midnight, but she assumes it does not matter. She talks to Iris in the library about how upset she is that no one knows their role in the investigation, but when Iris leaves to go to the bathroom Alice gets bored and opens Iris's computer to online shop. However, she sees an email from Whispering Pines and opens it up. She discovers an email responding to Iris’s inquiry about staying for an extended period...
