Cassiopeia 'Cassie' Sullivan

Cassie is one of the main characters of the novel. Cassie is a sixteen year old girl whose life was pretty normal before the alien invasion. Cassie had a crush on a fellow classmate, but she knew that he did not know who she was. Cassie had hopes and dreams. All of a sudden, they can never come true.

After the first three waves of the alien invasion, Cassie was still alive and struggling to survive. Cassie’s father kept the family together as best as he could. However, when the fourth wave began, they could no longer protect themselves. Cassie’s father trusted the soldiers who came for them and let them take his son. Then he did what he could to protect Cassie.
