Chapters 65-79 Summary
Chapter 65:
Lindsay arrives at Municipal to meet with the woman caller. When she arrives she is told by Noddie Wilkins that the woman has checked out. Then Noddie says she should talk to the police.
Chapter 66:
Noddie tells Lindsay about finding coins on Harris' eyes. Noddie says this isn't the first time it has happened. It seems to be a killer's signature. Noddie had reported an earlier incident and was threatened by the CEO so she dropped it.
Chapter 67:
Lindsay meets with Whiteley, the hospital's CEO. He says he does not understand who would make a complaint. Lindsay mentions the coins which could also be buttons. Whiteley says none of their patients were victims of homicides and that the buttons are a cruel prank. Whiteley says he didn't report the incidents because sometimes patients die.
