Prologue/Part 1: Chapters 14-33 Summary

Chapter 14:

Lindsay and Claire arrive at Susie's, their favorite bar/restaurant. Cindy is waiting for them. Lindsay reflects on how she met Cindy four years earlier when Cindy barged onto a crime scene. Cindy begins to tell them about the hot story she had going. It is a story about Municipal Hospital and how patients had died because they had received the wrong medication. Lindsay tells Cindy that is where Keiko is recovering from her stroke. Cindy goes on to say that Dr. Garza is a main suspect. Lindsay is worried. Yuki arrives.

Chapter 15:

Yuki tells the others she already knows about the lawsuit. Yuki assures them that the hospital is fine because she had her appendix out there a few years ago and had no problems. Yuki says Keiko is fine and loves her doctor. In...
