Summary
In the chapter titled “Genderqueer,” Karl and Debbie struggled to understand exactly what Sasha meant by “genderqueer.” Debbie was caught up with the sexual aspect, and Sasha had no interest in romantic or sexual relationships. By this time, Sasha had spent time researching the topic, and she had come up with some definitions. For example, gender referred to the way a person felt about themselves, sexuality referred to physical attraction, and romantic referred to emotional attraction. There were specific categories in each description.
