Chapters 3 and 4 Summary

Megan apparently shuts off her alarm in her sleep, so is still in bed when Patrick arrives the following morning. She is awakened by the pounding on the door, but takes time to slip into sweat pants before going downstairs. When Patrick is staring at her, she realizes she has a silk nightgown tucked into her sweat pants, having forgotten to put on a shirt. She goes back upstairs to finish dressing, falls back into bed and goes back to sleep. Patrick notes that Megan Murphy is back in bed and that he's going to have to wake her. He likens himself to Prince Charming. He is delighted with the idea that she has probably been longing for him all night, imagining his passionate kisses.
