Ignored Symptoms
Although the servicemen tell their caregivers significant symptoms, these symptoms are often ignored or glossed over. This act of not being proactive about symptoms the soldiers report, like suicidal thoughts or violent behavior, can sometimes have tragic results. One family is so frustrated by a veteran’s cries for help that they take matters into their own hands to get him the help he needs.
