Summary
In “The Line of Actual Control,” after Laks and the others finished the formalities, they were free to begin service. Rocks and sticks were the only accepted weapons at the line. No guns were allowed. They rode buses to a place where a new group called the Bonking Heads had been recording and posting videos of their progress.
As soon as Laks stepped down from the bus, a rock, thrown by one of the Bonking Heads, rolled up to his feet. Two members of Laks’s group ran immediately to fight, forcing the others into combat. Laks’s group soon realized the Bonking Heads had an unfair advantage because they were wearing oxygen masks.
