Summary

June dozes. She wakes and goes downstairs to find the portrait displayed with all of its changes. Her mother comes down and conveys her disappointment that June would go out of her way to deface her sister in such a way, believing that Greta had nothing to do with it. She tells her she is grounded and assures her that her time will now be structured and supervised, although she was still allowed to go to the play’s opening.
