Chapters 29 through 34 Summary

In Chapter Twenty-nine, Mona, Mary Jane, Granny and Morrigan return to the Mayfair estate. In Chapter Thirty, Ash continues his story, saying he experienced a vision of sex with Janet in a cave and then traveled the country, returning to Donnelaith in 1228, fearing that the Taltos had completely died out. He completes his tale by saying that his interests now lie in building his empire, in making toys and accumulating wealth. He assures them both that he won't bother Mona or any of the other powerful witches of the Mayfair clan.

In Chapter Thirty-one, Rowan dreams about killing the Taltos daughter and she and Michael prepare to return home to New Orleans.
