Chapters 20 through 24 Summary
In Chapter Twenty, Mona finds some ice cream and she asks Morrigan if they should share with Mary Jane or "gobble it" all by themselves. Morrigan says they should just eat it. Mona tells Mary Jane that they're going to have to leave the house. She points out the guards and asks Mary Jane if she can drive. Mona says that the child is Taltos, that the birth is imminent, and that she's going to protect the child from Rowan and Michael. Mary Jane agrees to help and says that they'll go to her granny at Fontevrault. Fontevrault is an old plantation house that is partially flooded. They have to reach the house by boat and Mona agrees that's where they'll go. Mona continues to talk to Morrigan, reassuring her that it's alright and that they'll be safe. Morrigan says that...
