Summary

In Chapter 14, Turtle is horrified that Anemone would use her power to manipulate Kinkajou's feelings. Anemone says she can do whatever she wants. When Turtle asks her to remove it, she says he should thank her. Kinkajou wakes, and Turtle begins to catch her up on recent events. Kinkajou thanks Anemone for healing her. Darkstalker's arrival interrupts the conversation. Turtle quickly assures Kinkajou that Darkstalker cannot hurt her and that Darkstalker cannot see Turtle. Anemone reveals to Darkstalker that she healed Kinkajou. Darkstalker says he planned to, but again says Anemone should talk to him before she casts spells. When Anemone objects, Darkstalker makes it sound as if he is merely offering advice to save her from making mistakes. She believes that makes sense.
