Chapter 14. Espresso Yourself Summary

Lucy goes to the coffee shop where the barista seems to be pissed-off. Lucy can't find Dylan so she finds a seat and watches two women in blue lipstick perform a musical number on their oboe and bass. Lucy closes her eyes and is enjoying the scene and music while letting her imagination run wild. When she opens her eyes Dylan is sitting across from her. As they are talking, a friend of his whom he calls Weevil invites them to a party. Lucy is impressed with Dylan and the people he knows and though she is nervous about the idea, she is considering going to the party.
