Chapter 13. Night Creature Summary
Lucy gets home and observes that her chrysalis is starting to change and become brighter. She starts to imagine that she is a bug but soon realizes that her strange thoughts may be caused by her blood sugar. She does not take her blood sugar but instead writes what she wants it to be on a piece of paper and tells herself that her blood sugar is what she wrote. Lucy drifts off but is suddenly woken up by her parents who are worried she isn't feeling well because she didn't wake up when they called her or knocked on her door.
